SUKIE SMITH
Sukie Smith is a musician, actress and artist. She released her debut solo album ‘The Glass Dress and a Ringing Bell’ to much critical acclaim. The video for the lead single ‘We Try Not to Think About it Now’ won best music video at the Seoul International AI Film Festival. She released three albums with her band Madam and while on hiatus, Sukie has collaborated with other artists including Tricky. As an actress Sukie has worked with many directors including Nicolas Roeg and Mike Leigh.
BETTY APPLE
Betty Apple is a multi-disciplinary artist specialising in performance art, sound art, electronic music, DJing and new media. Influenced by live sound performance, queer theory, posthumanism and Taiwanese underground culture, her work explores body politics, societal norms and human-object dynamics. By incorporating industrially-produced symbols of erotica into her performances, she crafts chaotic "magical realist narratives."
CABAYO
Cabayo brings to the game a deep Hypnotic techno vibe. He started DJing in the underground scene of Bogota as a teenager before moving to London to expand his DJ career. His work can be found in the sound designing of short films, in recordings and of course his own productions.
DEBRAH EASTWOOD
Debrah is a Filipino-British musician and environmentalist. She co-released the album ‘Hearing Colors via Abeano XL’ in 2013 as ‘Skint Eastwood’, together with Eyedress. Debrah and features on other albums recorded with artists in the Philippines, Los Angeles and London under the same moniker. She is currently working on a solo experimental project as well as continuing to record with U.K. based musicians.
SU GOODACRE
SUPERIOR
Su was signed by Tricky to Durban Poison, then onto Virgin Records after Tricky teamed her up with producer Lee Knott. As ‘Superior’, the duo recorded the unreleased album 'Germ Free' with 'Being You' the only official single release. Meanwhile, Kraftwerk’s Karl Bartos uncharacteristically agreed to remix Coma. Matt Osman from Suede played bass on Faster Than You, and Polaroid Millenium featured on the acclaimed techno album The Saint: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack.
LYNN (JADE EYES)
Taiwanese Pop Artist, Lynn (Jade Eyes), has joined The Colourblind and The Birds. Her 2015 self-titled mini-album was nominated for Best Electronic Album at the Golden Indie Music Awards - often viewed as the most prominent music award show for local indie artists. The album paid tribute to the early electronic music movements of Post-Punk and New Wave of the ‘70s and ‘80s and also laid the foundation for her future creations.
MAMA
MAMA has released a stream of vocal features for Grammy-nominated German duo Tiefschwarz, Emanuel Satie, Hannah Holland and more. These, in turn, inspired re-mixes from award-winning Dj, Solomon, who’s version of ‘Corporate Butcher’ remained number one in the Beatport Dance Charts for 6 weeks in 2012. Further remixes of her vocals were produced by Hot Since 82, platinum-selling Paul Kalkbrenner, Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke, Pan Pot, Life & Death, Rampa, Alan Fitzpatrick and more.
ERIK STEIN
Cult With No Name
Along with Jon Boux, Erik is part of the musical duo that forms Cult With No Name (CWNN). This German/English duo dub themselves "post-punk electronic balladeers”. In early 2015, CWNN was commissioned by German filmmaker Peter Braatz at the invitation of David Lynch, to produce the soundtrack for ‘Blue Velvet Revisited’, a feature-length documentary film based around previously unreleased footage that Braatz had shot on the set of the classic Lynch film, ‘Blue Velvet’. Their 11th album, ‘X into I’, saw Electronic Sound finally declare CWNN to be “Synthpop’s best-kept secret”.
LEE KNOTT
It Bites
Lee Knott initially forged a career in music, touring extensively and playing festivals such as Reading Festival and V Festival. He worked for acts such as Underworld and trip-hop pioneers Tricky and Portishead. Lee was signed to Virgin Records and has had his music used in film and television productions. More than a musician, Lee is a recognised artist, his works having been exhibited in institutions including the Royal College of Art and the Royal Academy as well as various other exhibitions.
CAPTAIN OPE
Captain OPE is one of the most exciting and important Contemporary Hip Hop artists in the United Kingdom. An artist of pure energy, Captain OPE was born and bred in London but remains connected to his roots in Nigeria. He is influenced by two continents and has a global approach to artistry. His 2023 debut EP Eden Dragon is a self-produced Alternative Rock and R&B inspired fusion with vivid Rap influences. He speaks for a generation with eclectic tastes that do not conform to one genre and see the entire planet as home.
