The Colourblind and The Birds project is the brainchild of Flip X, an enigmatic musician whose performances have captivated audiences at renowned festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival and Fusion. Beyond his musical talents, Flip X is an advocate for mental health awareness. Living with bipolar disorder, he brings a unique perspective to his art, using his platform to destigmatise mental health issues.
Flip X has gathered together some of the most talented underground artists from Europe, the Americas and Asia in a one-off exploration of mental fragility. Dedicating all proceeds from the band’s debut album, Baying for Blood to UK mental health charity Mind, this is a group committed to making a positive impact through their music.
